Review: The aroma of
this wine was of tobacco and black pepper.
The color was a deep crimson red.
This Sangiovese is a heavy bodied red with much puckering tannins and
balanced acidity. Dark cherries,
blackberries, pepper tastes were prominent.
The finish was smoky and spicy and left a wonderful spicy flavor in my
throat. This was my first Sangiovese and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking
for a spicy and complex red.
