Region: Columbia Valley, Washington State
Country: USA
Year: 2014

Total Wine Review: Columbia Valley, WA – Nice, light, bright and tangy citrus fruits with peach flavors. Crisp, good clean acidity to keep the mouth watering for more. Off-dry-delicately floral.

My Review:  The floral and citrus aromas of lemon and lime are delightful! The color is beautiful pale yellow. I served this wine chilled and it was very crisp and refreshing.  This is a semi- dry white with bright delicious and slightly acidic flavors of tart apple, white peach and lemon. I also got a hint of a mineral taste. The finish was smooth with left lingering flavors of citrus tingling in my mouth. This Riesling was paired with an Alpine Style Washed Rind Cheese. It was a great paring and brought out the grassy and earthy taste of the cheese.  I absolutely loved this light bodied, crisp and refreshing Riesling!
